Across Iowa, community, government and business leaders are taking unique approaches to supporting the economic vitality and quality of life in towns of all sizes. Several members of America’s Cultivation Corridor shared highlights.

Muscatine

Johnnie Arnett, director of corporate communications at KENT Corporation, takes us on a tour of Muscatine, Iowa, including a new health clinic, a century-old button factory being renovated into offices and KENT Corporation’s expanded manufacturing facilities. Dan Culhane, president and CEO of Ames Regional Economic Alliance, highlighted Nevada, Iowa, for its combination of thriving industries, vibrant downtown, which was recently named a Main Street community, and top-notch quality of life. Learn why companies like Verbio, Lincoln Way Energy and Burke Corporation call this community of nearly 7,000 home, and about amenities and events that draw residents and visitors alike.
