Richard M. Dwyer, an Atkinson, Illinois native, received his Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Industries from Southern Illinois University in 1984.

Mr. Dwyer joined Kent Feeds, Inc., in 1984 and has served in a number of sales and marketing positions since, including Central Region Sales Manager and Beef Products Manager; Vice President, Sales & Marketing; and in 2002 became President of Kent Feeds, Inc.; and then in April of 2010, President of Kent Nutrition Group Feed Division.

In December of 2011, Mr. Dwyer became Senior Vice President – Corporate Affairs and Enterprise Risk Management for Kent Corporation with responsibilities for community and government relations, and risk associated with all aspects of the companies. In addition, he serves on the Executive Committee of Kent Corporation.

Based in Muscatine, Iowa, the Company’s operating subsidiaries include Grain Processing Corporation (Corn Wet Milling); Kent Nutrition Group, Inc. (Animal Nutrition Products); Kent Pet Group, Inc. (Pet Products); Kent Precision Foods Group, Inc. (Seasonings and Dry Blended Foods); and The Sqwincher Corporation (Hydration Products).

Mr. Dwyer is a past board member of the American Feed Industry Association (AFIA) based in Washington, D.C. He is a past board member of the Muscatine Ag Learning Center. He is a current member of Iowa Association of Business and Industry and also serves as Deputy for the Iowa Business Council. Mr. Dwyer is a member of Rotary Club of Muscatine, serving as Co-Chairman of the Foundation Committee. He serves as Vice President for the Community Foundation of Greater Muscatine Board and is Co-chair of the Community Improvement Action Team (CIAT) appointed by the Mayor of Muscatine. In addition, Mr. Dwyer served as United Way Campaign Chair for 2013-2014, and is a past President of the Board for United Way.
