Chevron Renewable Energy Group is leading the energy and transportation industries’ transition to sustainability by converting renewable waste feedstocks and vegetable oils into high-quality, lower carbon fuels. Mr. Green’s role is focused on accelerating efforts to establish a robust global presence in renewable feedstock markets. He is responsible for business development with new and existing suppliers, identification of new renewable feedstock sources, strategic partnerships, long-term supply contracts and logistics investments to enable global feedstock access.
Mr. Green’s previous roles at Chevron Renewable Energy Group include serving as Director, Corporate Business Development and Senior Counsel on the legal team. Prior to Chevron Renewable Energy Group, Mr. Green served as Vice President of Transactions at McBee Strategic Consulting, with a practice focused on clean technology and renewable energy project finance.
Mr. Green also sits on the board of the Iowa Biotechnology Association, serving as IowaBio Board Chair in 2022. He is a member of the Iowa Bar Association and holds a JD, highest honors, from the University of Iowa College of Law. As a Fulbright Fellow to the Netherlands, Mr. Green earned a MA in Political Science from Leiden University and conducted research at the International Criminal Court in The Hague. He holds a BA, highest distinction, from the University of Iowa, where he served as Student Body President and received the Hancher-Finkbine Medallion, the university’s top academic honor.
Mr. Green is an Iowa native, originally from Fort Dodge,where his family still owns a century farm. He now resides in Ankeny, Iowa with his wife and two kids.
